St Swithuns CE Primary School

Year 6 - Larch Class

Welcome to Year 6 and fabulous Larch Class with Ms Maskell, Mrs Brown, Mrs Spratt, Miss Andersen and Ms Gregory!

We are a wonderfully kind and caring bunch of young people, who are creative and inquisitive towards all aspects of school and learning.  When stepping into our classroom, you will discover that we are a community of cheerful, hard-working children who are curious and passionate about the world around us; we are keen to embrace every opportunity that comes our way.

Larch class always shows great enthusiasm, whether we are reading a novel, creating beautiful artwork, engrossed in our writing, or working through Maths problems, for example.  We are eager to do our best and fully 'throw ourselves' into our learning; when we are challenged, we approach everything with positivity and we persevere.

We recognise that mistakes are more than okay - they are powerful learning opportunities and that there is great joy and accomplishment when mastering something particularly tricky.

We are a fun, friendly and supportive class, who set super examples for everyone in our school.  We work hard to be great role-models to others by taking responsibility and embodying our school's three values of respect, kindness and perseverance.
