Antibullying Week
Our well-being ambassadors kicked off Anti-Bullying week with an incredible assembly on Monday. They spoke well and confidently and have shown they are going to be a great team this year!
Anti-Bullying Week is an annual event that aims to raise awareness of bullying of young people, with an emphasis on prevention and effective responses to bullying.
This year’s theme is 'Power For Good'. We will be discussing scenarios and situations where children can use their own 'power' to help themselves and others. We will finish this week with an 'odd sock day' on Friday 21st November.
Please wear the most different pair of socks you can find. We will be show-casing our socks in assembly- photo pending!
We celebrate with odd socks to reinforce the message that we are all different and amazingly unique and how difference should be celebrated.
Please ask your child about the activities that they got up to this week!
Our thanks to the staff for playing in our assembly and showing the children how they can use their 'power' for good!
