EYFS & KS1 Water Day
Yesterday morning EYFS and KS1 enjoyed our annual Water Day event in celebration of our school saint – Saint Swithun.
Our thanks to Marcus Nurton for coming to talk to the children about Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire and the importance of keeping safe around water. The children all learnt some key skills and out thanks to Mr Nurton for his time.
Following this, the children enjoyed a range of water activities like fun on the water slide, hook a duck and capacity play.
Nursery and Reception children had a fantastic morning having lots of watery fun. There were lots of activities that we could try including washing babies, target practice, water slide...and getting each other really wet! We finished the morning in style with ice pops in the garden.
