Eco Crew & Christmas Cards
The Eco Crew met just before half term to discuss waste and littering in school and the impact that it has on wild animals. They presented to the whole school on Friday 25thOctober with a particular message about Christmas cards:
Did you know that if everyone in KS2 alone sent a Christmas card to everyone in their class, that would be about 7200 cards sent, which wastes a huge amount of paper? We also think that it would be more meaningful to say merry Christmas to each other! We would therefore like to suggest - as the school has done over the past two years - that children do not send Christmas cards to each other within school. Thank you!
