Kilvrough - Wed 3rd May

After an excellent first night we woke to another fantastic day of Welsh sunshine. We had a very filling breakfast and so suitably refuelled and ready for a jam-packed, adventurous day we set off in our groups for our first full day's activities.

Mr.Dando's and Mrs.Brown's groups took short minibus journeys to Pobbles Bay and Three Cliffs Bay for a day of rock climbing and abseiling. We were so proud of what everybody achieved.... fantastic!

Mrs.Reaney's and Mrs.Dowe's groups took longer trips to the canal to have a great day canoeing. Teamwork and perseverance were certainly on show!

On our return we had a very well received meal of spaghetti Bolognese and garlic bread, followed by apple crumble.

So suitably refuelled again to set off for an evening walk to the ruins of Pennard Castle along with its stunning views of the Gower Coast.

After this we were certainly ready for our beds and tonight we all settled down to sleep....almost straight away.

Here's to another great day tomorrow.
