Kilvrough
Year 4 took part in a three-night residential visit to Kilvrough Manor Outdoor Education Centre, on the Gower peninsula during the first week in May.
The children took part in a number of activities – including team building tasks; a costal adventure day; climbing and abseiling; a costal walk and created their own beach art. During the evenings, we walked to Pennard Castle, built dens, had a campfire (with hot chocolate and marshmallows!) and had a games and movie night. Pupils worked well together in their room groups, duty groups and activity groups and showed great determination, kindness and resilience throughout the week. We were also supported by some fantastic instructors at the centre (who made delicious cakes) and were very fortunate to enjoy a week of sunny and dry weather.
