Music Flood Week
Last week there was a musical buzz in school as we took part in our annual Music Flood week in partnership with Radley College. On Monday, children in Year 1-6 were treated to an aspirational assembly where musicians from Radley College shared their love of music and played their instruments. William had written his own song which he played on guitar. Key Stage 2 took part in 2 workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday; singing and Taiko drum. On Wednesday afternoon, Mrs Lawson took a group of our musicians to Radley College to take part in an improvisation workshop. The children were role models for our school and had a brilliant time. We hope you were able to enjoy the buskers that came to play outside Hawthorn on Wednesday at pick up time. What a great week of music! Huge thanks to everyone at Radley College who made this possible.
