Tag Rugby Tournament

Last Thursday, a group of our Year 6 pupils proudly represented St Swithuns at a Tag Rugby tournament at Tilsley Park. They demonstrated fantastic teamwork and it was a real pleasure to see how supportive and encouraging they were of one another.

Despite having not having much practise together as a team beforehand, the pupils showed impressive skill and determination, particularly in their accurate backward passing.

Competing against 11 other schools from across Abingdon, they won nearly all their matches and progressed to the semi-finals where they finished joint third overall.

The team should be extremely proud of their achievement! A huge congratulations to all!
