Tues 2nd May
After a very successful journey, which included a huge cheer as we crossed over the Prince of Wales bridge into Wales, we were greeted by the staff at Kilvrough. We settled into our rooms and unpacked....after a fashion show!!
We then spent the afternoon in our activity groups, taking part in team building activities, followed by the chance to have some free time playing outside in Kilvrough's magnificent grounds.
After a very hearty dinner, we ran off what little energy we had left by taking part in an evening orienteering activity....very successfully. Lots of excellent map readers.
At end of a jam-packed first day, we had some hot chocolate and in bed by 9 o' clock... asleep by 9.01....kind of.
Looking forward to climbing canoeing tomorrow!
