Year 3 Art Project

This term, some of the children in Y3 were fortunate enough to participate in a 4-week project with two visiting artists.  Oli and Andrea worked with them and the Endeavour special school in Headington on a project entitled 'The Gift'.  Their focus was well-being and their aim to produce artwork that could be gifted to the other school.  The children in Willow class produced works inspired by contemporary artists and ranged from a hanging origami mobile, a dance, a sequence of photographic stills and a wooden puzzle.  In turn, St Swithun's was gifted a fabulous artwork made by the students at Endeavour that can be seen hanging in reception.
