Year 6 Climate Change Workshops

Over the past five weeks, Year 6 have been thinking hard about climate change. With the help of Jillian and Claire, volunteers with Climate Ed, they have learnt about the various causes and consequences of global warming. They looked at the environmental impact of our lifestyle choices and ended by sharing ways people could make small changes for a big overall impact. Thank you to Jillian and Claire - the children loved the workshops, which were interactive and informative. The final session's Pictionary game to review key concepts was especially fun.

"The workshops really made me realise just how real climate change is" - Sophie

"The role plays were a great way to develop our knowledge of climate change" - Laura.
